Mentorship

Faculty work with each student to develop a project that recognizes the student's skill set, background, and future plans. Students with a wide range of majors are encouraged to apply. Undergraduate and graduate students with majors in biomedical engineering, computer science, neuroscience, electrical engineering have all been successful due to the interdisciplinary environment at the CIVM. Medical students with interest in neuroscience and imaging have been particularly successful.

Students and faculty meet weekly and have access to all the staff and resources of the CIVM. The majority of students are included in at least one peer reviewed publication.
